Sending us a photo of your hanger

Before you send us a photo of your hanger please take the time to read this information,  In order to help you find the right hanger ideally we need to see the profile shape of the hanger, and very often this is the unique part of your hanger and needs to match your frame.

IF YOU HAVE AN EXISTING HANGER

If you do have your old hanger then great, firstly make sure it is completely removed from the frame, take a photo of both sides of the hanger in good light without getting too close to the hanger as this may blur the image.

Even if your hanger is broken, just place it together the best you can as it will give us the best idea of how your profile should look.

Please do not send us photos of the dropout fitted to the frame and derailleur, unfortunately these photos do not provide us with enough detail information about the profile of your hanger.

How to take a photo of your dropout hangerDont get too close ot the hanger and make sure there is enough lightDont take pictures of the dropout fitted to the bike

Once you have your photos taken, simply E-mail them to us and include the make, model and if possible the year of your bike.

We will then do the leg work in trying to match it up for you. We have access to hanger lists exceeding 900+ hangers, If we are unable to match your hanger from our stock we will try and find a supplier for you however please bear in mind this may take some time.

How to find the right gear dropout hangerIF YOU DON'T HAVE THE ORIGINAL HANGER

This makes the process far more difficult as there hundreds of styles of hangers and finding the right one will probably be a wild guess, we can search manufacturer lists if we know the make/model/year however this is no guarantee they will have the hanger you need listed.

You can try sending us a photo of the frame with all gears and derailleur removed showing as much detail to the hanger area, it might help us narrow the field.
